Stenciling

Stenciling offers a quick and easy way to add design and even scenery to a room for those of us who may be less than artistic when it comes to freehand work. There are an incredible array of stencils available for nearly every type of decor, and anyone can pick up the basics in an afternoon. (Elaborate shading and tromp l’oeil effects take a little more time.) In the near future we will be adding more  photos and tips here, but for now we recommend visiting Royal Design Studio for all your stencil needs. Melanie Royal is one of the premiere stencilists in the UnitedStates and has an incredible selection of stencils, tools, idea books, and training DVDs to choose from.
